Our Process & Communications
Projects usually begin with an on-site consultation. This is where we discuss the scope of work, expectations and ideas. The cost of the consultation is $350. Following the consultation and once the scope of work and budget is approved, we ask that you sign our letter of agreement outlining terms of service and payment required for the design to initiate the project.
After a few weeks of research and sourcing we provide a design concept based on your project’s scope of work. The hourly rate for design time is $125. Implementation involves ordering and tracking of all furniture, lighting, accessories and scheduling of trades.
When a renovation is involved and demolition is complete, a budget and work order reviews are done based on findings during the demolition. At this stage we may have to recommend upgrades to bring electrical, plumbing, insulation and structural issues up to code.
ADF Interiors’ Journey
Anne Duquet-Ford began her career in Interior Design over 20 years ago when she began working in a design office. After a few years working with 2 successful designers when her children were young, she branched out on her own helping friends with their decorating projects.
Over time, her business expanded through referrals and in 2002 ADF Interiors was launched. ADF Interiors has won the Best of Houzz service award 7 years in a row. This reflects Anne’s focus on personal service and customer satisfaction. Anne approaches each project individually by first gaining an understanding of client’s design preferences, lifestyle and budget.
Anne’s network of experienced, reliable design sources and trades ensures excellent workmanship and timely completion of projects. ADF Interiors mission is to surpass client Expectations by transforming your space into a stylish, timeless and more functional home.
“I had a consultation with Anne and knew immediately that we could work together. Above and all, Anne is honest and professional. She was happy to work with pieces we had already purchased and built on that. She listened to our suggestions and made our home cozy and us! All the trades she used, cabinet makers, painters, draperies were reliable, clean and easy to work with. It was a pleasure to work with Anne.”
